Privacy policy

This policy explains what information is collected when you visit oldmoneyyourmoney.com, who collects it, and what you can do about it. Last updated: [date to set on review].

The short version

• We don't ask for your name, address or payment details. You buy from the retailer, not from us.
• If you sign up for email, we keep your email address to send you new looks, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• When you click a product link, the retailer's affiliate program may set cookies so the sale is credited to us.
• We don't sell your information.

Information collected when you browse

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, and are deleted on the provider's normal schedule.

The site uses fonts from Google Fonts. To show them, your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google's privacy policy covers that use.

Analytics

We don't use analytics or advertising trackers today. If we add a tool to count visits, we will name it here, say what it collects, and update the date above before it goes live.

Affiliate links and cookies

Product links go to retailers such as Walmart, Target and Home Depot through retail affiliate programs. When you click one, the retailer or its affiliate program may set a cookie in your browser. The cookie records that you came from our site so that, if you buy within a set period, the sale is credited to us. That period ranges from 24 hours to 30 days depending on the retailer.

These cookies are set by the retailer or its affiliate program, not by us, and their privacy policies apply. We receive reports of sales and commissions. These reports don't tell us who you are.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them doesn't change the price you pay; we just won't be credited.

Email signup

If you sign up, we collect your email address and the date you signed up. We use it only to send new looks and occasional updates from Old Money, Your Money. Our email provider stores the address for us and processes it under its own privacy policy and data processing terms; we will name the provider here before signup goes live.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your address at any time by writing to the address below.

Pinterest and other platforms

If you find us on Pinterest or another platform, that platform's privacy policy covers what it collects. Saving or clicking our pins on Pinterest doesn't give us any personal information about you.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Because we hold almost nothing beyond email signups, most requests are answered quickly. Write to us and we will reply within 30 days.
